Anchorage - Girdwood
Alaska Wildflowers
							Anchorage has a multitude of hanging flower baskets and planters downtown; but I found this wild sample of daisies and lupine, above, flourishing in a railroad yard, off the Coastal Trail, along the Cook Inlet. Daises, lupine, and red flowers also thrive in this rail yard. This cluster of oxeye daisies, left, caught my eye along a ski run at Girdwood, 40 miles south of Anchorage.
